We watched it today. It was wonderful for the kids to see someone else play their game.

My pupils have all asked if you would play their games and give them your thoughts. :)

Thanks for taking the time to play them,

Mr M

Brilliant work, they all look great and fun to play. Congratulations kids, just remember the ZX Spectrum when you get rich and famous coders!

I'm going to download these and have a play.  Fantastic work folks, I hope you enjoyed your foray into programming and game creation.  I was 13 when I started writing games and 18 when my first one was published so you're already way ahead of me.  Ultimately, it led to a career in software development and I now write software for fruit machines and arcade machines professionally.  Maybe some of you will go on to have successful careers in software development.  As for debugging, you have my sympathy.  It's probably the worst aspect of coding but I promise the more programming you do, the easier it gets.  Computers don't think, they only follow your instructions so you have to think for them.  Thank you for using AGD and if you have any ideas for improvements do let me know.

Hi Jonathan,

I am delighted you have come across our little project. I'd like to say a massive thank you from myself and every member of our class for creating such a wonderful platform for us to create our own games on.  We have learned so much from the experience and now have a deeper understanding of both coding and game development. We have used computational thinking skills to solve problems and have created something we are really proud of. Moreover, we now have a whole host of transferable skills which we can apply in our future pursuits whether that be in coding or using a logical approach to tackling challenges in life in general.

Thank you for the kind words, they are much appreciated,

Mr M :)

Just played your games kids ...... nice graphics and great gameplay. ... especially the invisible platforms are hard to finish a level.
Great to see that even our youngsters are interested in retro stuff . Nicely done guys and girls ...... and Dougie ...  keep up the good work ...... :)

Thank you so much for the kind words. :)

These are excellent, P6. I've been playing Spectrum games since I was your age, and these remind me a lot of some of the platform games I used to play back them. Some of them are even devilishly tricky! Well done. I will be getting my own year 6 form class to play test these, and give you some feedback.

Hi Matthew,

Thanks for taking the time to check out our games. That would be fantastic if your class could have a shot and give us some feedback!

It's great to hear about another teacher with a passion for the old Speccy.

Look forward to hearing from you in the future,

Mr M

Fantastic. Well done kids :)

Thanks. :)

Maybe one day we'll make a PERCY PENGUIN quality of game. :)

I'm pretty sure that won't be too far away judging on what I've seen in these games :

Let the gaming begin!

Nice and lovely initiative. Waiting with curiosity for the resultant games!
